DIS Group and Tibbo Systems become technology partners. Now Informatica can collect data from IoT sensors and SCADA systems
DIS Group, which represents Informatica in the Russian market, has established a technology partnership with Tibbo Systems, the developer of AggreGate IoT Platform. As part of this partnership, a single platform for collecting data from IoT sensors and data governance will be offered.
The comprehensive platform will include AggreGate Network Manager, AggreGate SСADA/HMI, and Informatica Data Engineering Streaming. This will allow to efficiently collect data from IoT devices, SCADA systems, PCS, and other industrial control systems, as well as to integrate such data, store them, analyze with different tools, use on Hadoop, etc. At that, there will be a capability for processing data by other Informatica modules, for example, to improve data quality with Informatica Data Quality.
During the development process, the partners have performed technical integration of AggreGate Platform and Informatica's solutions, as well as tested and confirmed the compatibility of both vendors' solutions.
Pavel Likhnitsky, CEO at DIS Group, noted, "First of all, the solution will be useful to production enterprises, in particular, companies in the oil and gas industry. At present, such companies vigorously implement IoT and SCADA systems to prevent equipment failures and forecast downtime. The new platform can significantly streamline data processing, which means faster failure detection and lower response time."
Alexander Dolbnev, Business Development Director at Tibbo Systems, added, "Our partnership with DIS Group provides large production companies with a comprehensive end-to-end digital transformation solution that comprises IoT, big data, and data governance. Such a solution can streamline collection and simultaneous analysis of structured and non-structured corporate data, including operational and financial data. It is worth noting that, as part of preparing the comprehensive solution, specialists of DIS Group integrated Informatica solutions with AggreGate with our minimal involvement. Such a fact proves true our approach to working with partners, which lies in autonomy and independence from the vendor."
