Industrial Automation
The area of AggreGate’s adaptability starts at a PLC level. AggreGate Edge micro-servers running on the Linux-based controllers, industrial PCs, touch panels, and single-board computers execute the process control algorithms designed in IEC 61131-3 programming languages (LD, ST, FBD, and SFC).
The process automation is targeted by AggreGate SCADA/HMI that offers an end-to-end supervisory control and visualization of processes, production flows and machines. The product supports most typical industrial automation protocols, both standard (such as Modbus, OPC UA, DNP3, or IEC 60870-5) and proprietary.
A high-performance historian compatible with open-source and commercial databases (both SQL and NoSQL) ensures the sustained storage rates of several hundred thousand samples per second. The advanced UI designer is equally good for building HMIs, forms, maps, dashboards, and other web-enabled interfaces.
A plant-level intelligence is proved by the out-of-the-box MES modules as well as MES products built by our partners working in the packaging, chemical, microelectronics, and other industries. Analytical capabilities of the platform enable the management for recipes, batches and work orders. An object and process modeling engine provides a way of building model hierarchies reflecting the machine performance, downtime and overall equipment effectiveness (OEE), both detailed and aggregated by machine types, shop floors and factories within a distributed enterprise.
AggreGate often serves as an enterprise service bus relaying the industrial data and supervisory control operations between the federated control center and remote facilities. Handling millions of tags, it offers a smart data escalation and edge-to-cloud orchestration enabling operational intelligence and predictive insights built around the unified corporate data lake.
Finally, the platform covers many typical assignments of the EAM and ERP systems. Providing an automated inventory of physical assets and services throughout the whole infrastructure, it brings the spare part management, supply chain optimization and quick incident resolution. The advanced event management, GIS and BI modules are capping the requirements of a unified command and control center designed to improve the situation awareness for an industrial enterprise.
